I got this body butter by accident. I was looking for the Aqua Mirabilis when was in the Lush store, but for some reason I grabbed Buffy. I didn't realise it until I got home. Oh well, at least it's a good chance for me to try out other products. And, Buffy is very popular on the internet, I am very excited to use this. I love a multipurpose product like this that exfoliate and moisturize at the same time.
Buffy is super rich and creamy with cocoa butter and shea butter, perfect for people who have patchy dry skin. The creamy moisture lingers even after you rinse, but it sinks in and absorbs eventually. However it is too heavy for my taste, I prefer this one for the winter. But, if you have dry skin all year round, or you live in a dry area, this is a perfect Body Butter for you.
Compared to Aqua Mirabilis, Buffy has a milder exfoliant with grounded rice, almond, and aduki beans. If you are scared of scrubby scrubs, this is the perfect exfoliant for you. I know I suggested Aqua Mirabilis for Karatosis Pilaris, but there are reviews saying Buffy works great for this kind of problem as well. (Check out my previous post: REVIEW:Lush Aqua Marina Body Butter (Treat Karatosis Pilaris))
Buffy smells lovely! It's a calming soft floral scent, with a hint of lavender. If you are stressed out during the day, this product can soothe you before you go to bed. And, the ingredients are so natural it is safe for sensitive skin as well.
The way to use Lush Body Butter is to rub it onto your damp skin after cleans. DO NOT run it down the water! Don't listen to the sales lady! The butter already melts in your palm, there is no need to melt it more with warm water. Another method it help your Body Butter last longer is to store it in a tin (you can find in Lush store), and put it into the fridge. It lasts me 3~4 months and I use it almost every shower.

ReplyDeleteHi, Erin, yes I love their bath bombs too!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. But you have to like the smell, as it lingers quite a while.
