Watercolor Nails

I just did this beautiful nails inspired by the nail look I saw from Michelle Phan's video. It is very beautiful and easy. I don't usually post about my nails, but I am very happy with this design. I would like to share with you how this is done.

This nail design is quite simple. There is no detail drawings involved, as you can see it is a little messy.
  1. Apply base coat.
  2. Apply a coat of white nail polish. This color acts like a white canvas for the painting.
  3. After the white color is dried. Randomly dot on other colors.
  4. Before the dots are dried, smudge them a bit with a Q-tip.
  5. Lastly, apply two layers to top coat to make it look brighter.

The look is really artistic and colorful. It looks a bit like floral design from afar. And, you can play with different color combination to create a complete different look. It's really fun for a summer day, it adds a playfulness to your style. I seldom wear colorful nails like this, but I think I'm in love with this look.

Would you try this watercolor nails?
